What Is It, In Plain Words?
Lovable builds a website or simple app from a description in plain words. Type "a website for our village book club with a list of meetings" and it makes one you can see and change.
It's a fun way to try making something without learning to code. Things can get complicated, so start small.
What You Can Use It For
- A club website. Meeting dates, a contact form and photos.
- A family page. Share news and photos with relatives.
- A simple tool. A tracker for your garden or recipes.
Getting Started Step By Step
On A Computer
- Open your web browser and go to lovable.dev. Check the address carefully, because look-alike sites exist.
- Sign up with your email, Google or GitHub account.
- Type what you'd like to build in the box.
- Wait while it builds. A preview appears.
- Ask for changes in plain words, such as "make the text bigger".
- When you're happy, click Publish to get a web link.
Things To Try Typing
Copy one of these, or describe your own idea.
- Build a simple website for the Thornbury Walking Group with our walk dates and a contact form
- Make a recipe book page where I can add my favourite recipes
- Make all the text bigger and use high contrast colours
- Add a page with photos from our summer trip
What It Costs

We couldn't confirm the price of Lovable's paid plans on the official site when we checked on 16 October 2026, so we're not printing a figure. Please check the official site for the current price where you live.
