What Is It, In Plain Words?
Mindtrip is a free AI trip planner. Tell it where you'd like to go and what you enjoy, and it builds a day-by-day plan with a map, places to visit and somewhere to eat.
You can change anything by chatting with it.
What You Can Use It For
- City breaks. "Three relaxed days in Edinburgh, no steep hills."
- Ideas. "Where's warm in February that's a short flight from Manchester?"
- Days out. "A rainy day in York with a nice lunch."
Getting Started Step By Step
On A Computer
- Open your web browser and go to mindtrip.ai. Check the address carefully, because look-alike sites exist.
- Type where and when you'd like to go in the chat box.
- Read the plan and look at the map.
- Ask for changes, such as "fewer museums" or "step-free places".
- Sign up with your email or Google account to save your trip.
On A Phone Or Tablet
- Open the App Store (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play (Android).
- Search for Mindtrip and check it's made by Mindtrip. Copycat apps exist.
- Tap Get or Install, then open it.
Things To Try Typing
Copy one of these, or describe your own trip.
- Plan a gentle 4-day trip to Lisbon for two people in their seventies, with plenty of rest stops
- Find step-free attractions in London for a wheelchair user
- Suggest a seaside day trip from Bristol by train
- What should we do in Bath on a rainy afternoon?
What It Costs
It's free. There's no paid version to buy — booking hotels or activities through it costs whatever those places charge.
If anyone asks you to pay to use it, or to "unlock" it, that's a scam.
Privacy And Safety
- If you sign in, your trips are saved in your account.
- Never pay for anything through a link you're unsure of. Book with well-known companies.
- Never type passwords, PINs, bank or card numbers, your National Insurance number (UK) or Social Security number (USA).
Good Points And Watch-Outs
Good Points
- Plans with a map you can see.
- Easy to change by chatting.

- It can be wrong about walking distances.
