What Is It, In Plain Words?
StoryWorth sends you one question a week by email or text, such as "What was your favourite toy?" You reply by writing or recording your answer. After a year, your stories are printed in a hardback book.
It's a popular gift from grown-up children to their parents. You don't need any technical skill beyond replying to an email.
What You Can Use It For
- A memoir, a bit at a time. One short answer a week adds up to a book.
- Gifts. Family members can buy it for a parent and read the stories as they come in.
- Choosing your own questions. Pick from hundreds of questions or write your own.

- Each week, open the email from StoryWorth.
- Reply with your story, as long or short as you like. You can add photos.
- If you prefer, choose to record your answer by phone instead.
- After a year, choose a cover and order your book.
